Steve brought TIF to my attn. I am starting a position. 2 Contracts of the Feb 95/90 BPS for .85 credit. Next add is 2 more contracts at $1.50 credit
Added multiple contracts of TIF Feb 95/90 BPS: 1 contract @ 1.46 credit, 1 contract @ $1.59 credit, 2 contracts 2.15 credit, 1 contract @ $2.52 credit, 1 contract @$2.72 credit… All these fills happened at open. I then decided to roll down to the Feb 92.5/87.5 BPS for a $.65 debit. The position now looks like this:
Was caught off guard by the huge gap-down..
Put on 9 contracts of the 95/100 Feb Bear call Verts yesterday for $.50 per contract thus making an IC:
Update on TIF trade: Modified on 1/28 by rolling the Put side down to the 90/85 BPS for .92 debit
Update: On 2/3 rolled the call side down to a 92.5/97.5 for .33 credit
Rolled the Call Side down to the 90/95 Bear calls on 2/5 – forgot to post in portal. Looks like this now:
Closed TIF 9 Contract Iron Fly for for $1.85 debit. Lost $120 on the trade but feel fortunate considering the wild swings and potential larger losses.
